Guiding People On Their Path to Change.
Meet Jennifer Grubb (she/her)
LPC, EMDR-Tr, MGCP, QTAP-Candidate
As a mental health provider, my work with clients and their families has informed my understanding that life’s emotional journey does not always offer us a clear path to follow. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults to learn the skills necessary to navigate mental health challenges, relational challenges, gender and sexuality issues, and the complicated challenges that are present around transitions, including in times of crisis.
As a Mental Game Coaching Professional, I have made a commitment to treating issues specific to sports performance and helping players and coaches overcome the barriers to success. As a former soccer player at the Women’s National Team, professional, and collegiate level, I wanted to blend my work in mental health with helping others address the unique demands that athletes face. When I retired from my playing career, I pledged to continue sharing my love for sports and competition by coaching and supporting athletes as they pursue their dreams.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand the challenges that come with being part of a historically marginalized community. I have made a personal commitment to continuing my own learning to enhance my work with other queer-identified people.
